Send management

1) Header and Footer

The Header and Footer are set in the Account Settings of the User settings

and it can be set with system default, custom settings, or none

And we can create a customised header and footer from the content of the email, also by editing

Footer is a must for sending an email from an email template

Email Template is created from Email Studio > Email > Content

Add basic HTML content in a template-based email and insert a code snippet inside the basic HTML content

Profile Management is updated from Email Studio > Email > Subscribers > Profile Management

2) Test send Thresholds

Warning Threshold

This feature displays a notification when a test send exceeds the specified threshold. You can bypass this notification to perform the test send.

Maximum Threshold

This notification displays when a test send exceeds the maximum test send threshold. You cannot bypass this notification to perform the test send.

3) Subject and Preheader Validation

This feature displays a notification to call out words in the subject and preheader of your email during sending. The notification is to prevent accidental live sends with a test subject and preheader. The notification appears when sending Content Builder emails via the Send Flow in Email Studio and the Automation Studio Email Activity. The default list includes words that are typically added to the subject and preheader during the testing phase. Click Add to add more words to this list. Click Save after adding or updating words in the list.

4) URL Expiration

Determine when URLs in emails sent from this account will expire and redirect to a redirect URL. URLs must remain available for at least 60 days and no longer than 2 years (730 days).

Adjusting the timeframe to a time that is greater than what is currently set will cause expired URLs to start redirecting to their original address. Adjusting the timeframe to a shorter time than what is currently set will cause live URLs to immediately expire and redirect to the redirect URL.
